ANZAC Reflection

I learnt that the first world war 1 they fought at a poppy field and they ate ginger nuts cookies, corned beef, meat stew and raw meat. they had to fight in mud and trenches, they had A group of miners, operating dug tunnels up to 100ft underground, to plant and detonate mines beneath the enemy's trenches. And when they dug tunnels used mouses to see if the enemy tunnels were not exposed with poisonous gas.Then it all ended in 1918 november 11th more than 1.5 million The total number of military and civilian casualties in World War I was over 37 million. There were over 16 million deaths and 20 million wounded ranking it among the deadliest conflicts in human history. The total number of deaths includes about 10 million military personnel and about 7 million civilians. This is what I learnt so far thank you for reading
